GRIDCORE GROUP’S FIVE ESG AREAS OF COMMITMENT

ENERGY TRANSITION AND INFRASTRUCTURE CONTINUITY

Our business supports the development of more modern, secure and resilient networks

The very nature of GridCore’s business is closely linked to the major changes taking place across the energy and infrastructure sectors.

The Group operates throughout the network life cycle, contributing to the construction, maintenance, expansion and modernisation of infrastructure. This means supporting operators and utilities in managing increasingly complex networks that must respond to new demands, including greater electrification of consumption, the development of renewable energy, the growth of electric mobility, the decentralisation of energy generation and the need to ensure continuity of service.

In this context, GridCore acts as an integrated platform capable of coordinating specialist expertise and operational capabilities, with the aim of contributing to the safety, efficiency and development of Italy’s strategic networks.

Our areas of commitment include:

Modernising and reinforcing electricity networks

Ensuring continuity and security of service

Supporting the grid connection of renewable energy installations

Developing infrastructure for electric mobility

Providing technical and operational oversight of critical assets

Coordinating complex projects through an integrated approach

DECARBONISATION AND EMISSIONS MEASUREMENT

Measuring environmental impact to define clear improvement targets

GridCore has begun a process of measuring and improving the environmental impact of each Group company, with the aim of establishing a robust data baseline and developing progressive, measurable reduction plans.

With the support of ClimatePartner, a specialist external partner, our companies are measuring their carbon footprints and identifying actions to improve their environmental performance over time.

This approach enables us to move from stated commitments to a model based on data, monitoring and clear targets, while supporting each company in adopting shared tools and methodologies.

Our areas of commitment include:

Calculating emissions and measuring corporate carbon footprints

Defining improvement targets

Identifying decarbonisation measures

Periodically monitoring results

Providing methodological support to Group companies

Gradually integrating environmental practices into operational processes

HEALTH AND SAFETY

The health, safety and wellbeing of our people are a core responsibility

Health and safety are essential pillars for GridCore and all Group companies. Working on critical infrastructure requires rigorous procedures, constant attention to risk and a shared culture of prevention.

GridCore therefore promotes a structured approach aimed at strengthening health and safety practices across its companies, supporting them in adopting consistent tools, objectives and improvement plans.

Alongside operational safety, our commitment also extends to protecting individuals and ensuring a high-quality working environment. This includes training and awareness initiatives focused on recognising, preventing and properly addressing abuse, discrimination and conduct that could undermine personal dignity.

Our goal is to foster a culture of responsibility that goes beyond regulatory compliance, strengthening internal awareness and helping to create respectful, inclusive and responsible workplaces.

Our areas of commitment include:

Health and safety plans for Group companies

Employee training and awareness

Prevention of operational risks

Protection of individuals and management of misconduct

Certification pathways, including SA8000 and gender equality certification

Reporting channels and whistleblower protection

Development of a shared accountability framework

Periodic monitoring of targets and continuous improvement

Internal and external audits to verify compliance with statutory requirements and management systems

GROUP GOVERNANCE

Shared guidelines for responsible growth

GridCore is an evolving Group established to bring specialist industrial expertise together within a shared platform. As part of this process, governance plays a fundamental role in ensuring consistency, transparency and accountability as the Group grows.

GridCore is developing a governance model to be progressively extended across its portfolio companies, with the aim of establishing shared principles, procedures and guidelines.

This process includes the gradual adoption of tools such as the Organisational, Management and Control Model pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001, the Code of Ethics and Group policies designed to guide the activities of individual companies according to common principles of integrity, responsibility and control.

Our areas of commitment include:

Defining shared guidelines to support Group companies

Gradually extending the Organisational Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001

Adopting the Code of Ethics

Strengthening organisational, management and accountability frameworks

Developing shared expertise and tools

Monitoring the commitments undertaken by individual Group companies

CERTIFICATIONS

Company-specific pathways, shared standards

Over time, the companies within GridCore have undertaken specific certification pathways in quality, environmental management, health and safety, in line with the nature of their respective operations.

The certifications obtained by individual companies are an important asset for the Group and demonstrate their commitment to recognised technical, management and organisational standards.

GridCore aims to build on and coordinate these pathways, promoting gradual alignment around shared methodologies and common objectives.
